Beat the Traffic App Reviews

Cant get past the opening warning not to use the app while driving. The "agree" button wont accept any input so app is hung and useless. Also,.. It didnt update my existing Beat the Traffic version. It installed a separate version. Not impressed. Especially since I still have to cancel the freakin update message EVERY time I open the old version. Super annoying!

3 attempts to download & again reverts to download !!!!! Waste of time

Really a great app for traffic. Fast, easy to read. Id like to keep it up while driving but it offers too many ads. Every few seconds another add buzzes along the bottom chewing up data.

The app worked great on my iPhone 5 now on the 6s it crashes at start and wont let me do anything.

This app is accurate and easy to use. Give it a try.

This version is not user friendly. You can only add Trip destinations if the app. already has the address in its file. You cannot add an address to it. Also, adding an incident is complicated. It should not be this way when you are on the road. As with all the apps, the creator(s) try to update the look of the app, but lose function. My message to them is "If its not broke, dont fix it."

App does not show real time traffic flow. All lanes showing green, but traffic at 10 mph.

I was excited at what this app said it would do. However it says my trip is all clear and I am literally at a standstill due to construction. Not very helpful.

Very intuitive and friendly app. Useful during commutes to see traffic and construction as well as avoid tolls option. Excellent to use if youre going to be commuting and can foresee any problems for you to drive. Highly recommended!!!

I drive an hour from home to work. This app allows me to see traffic with a camera. It notifies me when theres a accident. Love it!

This has to be the most unreliable app I have ever used. The drive times are only accurate if there is no weather and no traffic of any kind.

Often says "no image available" when other traffic and local news apps show the cameras views clearly?

Cannot login, cannot create new trips, this app is completely nonfunctional. Problems started with the last update and have continued to get worse. Used to be a good app – completely unusable at this point.

This app WAS the best!!! NO LONGER IS. I live in Cleveland Ohio and there used to be 4 cameras on my commute now they only have one. Im so disappointed.

I sit here at a dead stop in traffic jam after checking this app for my morn commute. Only accurate about 5% of the time. Better off with Google maps!!

Beat the Traffic used to be great, but it suddenly no longer works in my home state of Connecticut. It does show traffic in the surrounding states so something is very wrong.

In the last week, this app has gone from my most trusted "go-to" app to a frustrating one. The server update message keeps appearing and I cant shut off alerts to trips completed last week. Hopefully, when this long overdue work is completed I will be able to give the BTT app a 5 Star rating again.

This app used to be very good. I used to rely on the camera portion of the app to verify traffic. Lately Ive been getting messages that certain cameras are no longer available or are not functioning. Ive tried other apps and cameras are working great. Ill give this app a rest for now.

Im hoping this is temporary but have been using and relying on this app for years for my commutes for business. This was a must have on any device I used daily and now I dont even bother opening it. None of the cameras have images anymore and the data is unreliable. People used to be jealous of my ability to "know what was ahead", but now I am stuck chasing this info down elsewhere. I hope this gets fixed soon so I can update my review.
